Creating value beyond a website
Building awareness for a new NGO
This project was significant to me during production as it wasn’t another brochure website selling a product or a service. One World Health provides worldwide medical support for the poor, especially children and the underprivileged. Using illustrations and negative space as a background treatment was widely supported and provided a means to transition from one page to another—and to accent accompanying content. Photography was all provided by the client which was hopeful yet dramatically emotional.
In each major landing section for the site, I utilized the illustration backdrops with negative knockout foreground objects to continue the visual thread of an optimistic and attainable future for the children.

This concept led to multiple interpretations that mimicked various locations around the globe. Africa, Asia, and South America for example were all highlighted locations. As an organization with a global reach, I wanted the website experience to reflect that diversity.
