An early start to illustration

Before I ever really started looking at graphic design or anything digital, I always had a talent for expressing myself in the visual arts—specifically illustration. I started early in my childhood and progressively found ways to incorporate this into my professional career. My fascination with graffiti and pop art led me to develop a style I could eventually call my own.

Taking talent to task

Dog Tags

Dog Tag Inc. empowers service-disabled veterans, military spouses, and caregivers to build a strong foundation in a community with shared interests and support. As an early project in my career, I was allowed to provide some simple branding and illustration components that would eventually scale into a public-facing campaign.

Cord Blood Registry infographics

CBR.com helps families plan for critical medical decisions that may need to be made in the future. It provides peace of mind, especially for new families. While working in San Francisco, I illustrated, designed, and developed static and interactive versions of two infographic experiences.

Early work with this type of visual storytelling helped me to grasp data-driven design as one of the best tools to provide complex ideas in a simple format for understanding. After moving on to DocuSign and Workday, I developed production programs that heavily included these marketing assets in our campaigns.

A side-scroller for Dreamforce

A brief but rewarding campaign at DocuSign was created around showing the proponents of a transformative digital product set against the historical approach. DocuSign is the leader in digital signature solutions; as such, we wanted to push our appearance at Dreamforce that year. I discussed the idea of a video game-like experience, and we agreed to its production. It was a short-lived experience but a unique and fun undertaking.

Poster work and everything in between

When given time, I still enjoy creating unique characters and visuals. Part of this exploration helps me keep in tune with adapting contemporary design styles.
